Gateway has entered to Netbook market with its just-arrived Netbook launching in Singapore: LT1001G Netbook.
The Gateways’s netbook has succeeded the design of Acer Aspire one but it is priced much more than its peer.
The $688 netbook comes with typical features as 1.6 GHz Atom processor, 1 GB RAM and huge 160 GB hard disk drive. It weighs as light as 1kg.
Along LT1001G Netbook, Gateway has launched a P7804G FX-series ($2,888) gaming laptop, MC 7800 series ($1,688) Multimedia laptop and a light 13.3-inch laptop with an ability to run some decent games in Singapore, as well.
Gateway P7804G FX series laptop features 17-inch, 1920 x 1200 pixels display, Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 (2.4GHz, 3MB L2 Cache, 1066MHz) running on Intel Centrino 2 platform, 4GB of RAM, 2 x 320 GB hard disk drive, Dual-layer DVDRW recorder drive,1 GB Nvidia GeForce 9800 GTS graphics card, Gigabit Ethernet port, draft-N Wi-Fi adapter, and 1 HDMI 1.3 port, 3 USB ports, 1 Firewire port, 1 eSATA port, 5-in-1 card reader.
Gateway MC 7800 series laptop comes in two color options (burgundy and black) features 16-inch 1336 x 768 display , an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor P7350 (2.0Gz), 320GB hard disk drive, dual-layer DVDRW burner and, illuminated keyboard and multimedia controls, and HDMI-out port.
The 2kg ultra portable 13.3"Gateway laptop comes with a discrete ATI Radeon HD3470 graphics card which is rarely found in this category of laptops.
